Ambassador Program

MICCAI 2026, Strasbourg, France

Authors of accepted MICCAI 2026 workshop or challenge papers who cannot travel to Strasbourg because of funding or visa barriers are paired with attendees who present their posters on their behalf.

Applications close 11 September 2026.

Who Can Apply

Apply as an

Author

  • You have an accepted MICCAI 2026 workshop or challenge paper.
  • You cannot attend in person because of funding or visa barriers.
  • At least one author from the paper should register for the satellite-event day by 15 September.
  • You can submit the poster PDF by 15 September.
Apply as an

Ambassador

  • You will attend the MICCAI 2026 satellite events in person.
  • You are a graduate student, resident, postdoctoral fellow, or early-career researcher.
  • You can meet the Author online between 15 and 26 September.
  • You can present one poster on the event day.

This program covers MICCAI 2026 satellite events only — workshops and challenges. Papers accepted to the main conference are not eligible.

RISE-MICCAI prints and delivers the posters, and Ambassadors receive a certificate and conference swag. A match cannot be guaranteed for every paper.
